There are maps at each road leading to every community so you know what's available before heading in. Some of the villages are very small with few services but there's still a map.
Solheimajokull glacier. Beautiful on a sunny day!
Basalt formations - splintered columns of volcanic rock.
Reynisfjara black sand beach. These are sea stacks formed by volcanic activity. There were lots of puffins on the cliffs behind us. They were little white specks in the pics.
A closer look at the tongue of the glacier.

The entrance to the base of the Gljufrabui waterfall. The falls drop into a hollow within a rock. You can walk thru this arch along the stream (thru the stream depending on your balance).
We climbed up 500 steps to get this view above the falls.
Rainbow formed at the base of the Skogafoss waterfall.
