Another successful Shalimar Invitational.

The annual Invitational is over and another successful chapter has been written. I want to thank all who worked so hard to make it the success it was. We need to start with God! Thank you God for keeping the cold front west of us until play was over. Thanks to all the gals who brought food. Everyone raved about the amount and the quality. Thanks to Patty Carnes for organizing that portion. Thanks to Lynn Berman and her mother June Ray for the name tags and registering our participants. Thanks to Lucille Walters and Vickie Glasso for handling the money pot, mulligans and magic putts (and for endlessly explaining the magic putt). Thanks to Nancy Ellis for collecting door prizes and taking those wonderful pictures. Thanks to Marge Collins for decorations and co-chairing the event. Thanks Mary Ann Hegstad for her support. Thanks to Ruth Lawler, Vicki and Lucille for helping to decorate and distributing door prizes. Thanks to Sue Gulley for keeping track of the entry fees. Thanks to Jane and her marvelous staff for a delicious lunch and, finally, thanks to John and the pro shop for handling all the details with such professionalism. If I have overlooked anyone, please accept my heartfelt gratitude for your help. It looks as if the January date is popular so until next year ...

We all had a great time and we want to thank John and all the Shalimar club workers for making the golf and lunch so delicious.
