Our
1st excursion was out of Puerto Montt---ship at anchor so we took in tender (small
boats from ship) into town. Bus ride out to beautiful lake Llanquihue (this lake
is huge with one side in Chile and the other side in Argentina. Had views of the
inactive volcano Orono all the way out. (See pics) After ride on catamaran went
to Petrohue/falls which empties out onto the class 4 river. Chickened out out
on rafting cause it's fed by the Andes. Nice lunch in town of the roses--Puerto
(Port) Varas.
