Softball Practice

  1. Make sure you have designated a starting time that has everyone at the field with time to change their shoes from their bag, putting on lotion, etc. etc.

  2. They start every day the same with a slow jog to warm up and they should run in an organized line or partners as they jog around the field in a line of twos.

  3. Select a senior or leader to take them thru the stretches that are required. Here are some workout links:
  4. Always have throwing drills to work on form and quick release and to build strength

  5. Break into the drills of the day. Check out other sections of this website for drills of a wide variety. Daily work on hitting, strategy, skills, etc. etc.

  6. Finish with running and cool down exercises or some type of strategy work needed for the next day.
