81 - Fairlee, VT - Lincoln, NH - 40

Another new state! After about a mile of riding this morning,
we crossed the Connecticut River into New Hampshire. We rode uphill thru farms
and forests most of the day. There were several big climbs but none as steep as
the Vermont climbs. We rode thru the White Mountain National Forest where the
Appalachian Trail crossed the road. Tonight we're staying in Lincoln, positioning
for our last big climb tomorrow.
