Day
53 - North Branch, MN to White Bear, MN - 34
miles ....... 2310
total miles
Woke up to another beautiful day, sunny, warm and not too humid.
Didn't have much energy though, I think our bodies knew it was going to be fewer
miles! We picked up the Sunrise Prairie/Hardwood Creek bike trail in North Branch,
an old Burlington Northern rail trail, and rode along it about 25
miles south to Hugo. Again it was great to be away from traffic. We rode to Linda's
Mom's home in White Bear. Mom was waiting outside to greet us, along with her
neighbor Betsy, and documented our arrival with a few pics. Amazing to ride here
on a bicycle after many years of flying and driving, wasn't sure it would ever
happen! We had dinner with friends, Mom's neighbors, Dave and Judy at their home.
Great meal and evening visiting and sharing travel adventures.
