at sea ..... Mon
May 4--Portland England. Dorset countryside. Southwest corner of England.
No euros here---only English pounds.
This stop was primarily for people to take excursions to Stonehenge which
is about a 10 hour day excursion. I've been there & Toni not interested
in riding bus all day to spend 45 min at the site. So we're going to take
a shuttle into the seaside holiday town of Weymouth & poke around. Today
is a bank holiday so not all shops open but we'll find something to buy I'm
sure. We did have a fun day in this seaside resort town. Very picturesque
harbor & since it's a holiday, lots of people out today with kids and
dogs (got our puppy fix today in town). Miss our fur kids a lot! Crab sandwich
lunch at a pub. Came back to ship & had hot tub all to ourselves. Nice...
