Gibraltar.

View from the ship--it's British territory since early 1700's but drive on
right. Use pounds not Euros. Pubs everywhere. Cable car ride to top of the
rock. Then explored the top with the resident Barbary Ape population. They
steal anything they can & jump on top of cars up there. Toni wanted to
pet one of course. Fun to watch them stare at you & groom each other.
Then inside the "rock" into St Michael's Caves--30 miles of road
in there--canons for fortification & also used for defense in WW2. Fascinating
story of defense.
Weather spectacularly sunny & 73 degrees. British pub lunch--fish &
chips & a pint of lager with lime. Yum
