Broome time! Life is quite kicked back in Broome, no rush, no worries. Things don't necessarily run on schedule. We spent another day here, walking on Cable beach, watching sunrise & sunsets, just relaxing. There are 2 seasons here, the wet and the dry. Things are quiet during the wet, November-April. The dry brings tourists and lots of young folks, from Australia & overseas, looking for work.

Many folks out early enjoying Cable Beach at low tide.

High tide brought sunbathers & swimmers.

The difference between low tide and high tide is more than 10 meters. That’s Linda out there at low tide, you might have to expand the pic to find her!

This is approximately the same spot at high tide! Twice daily tides wash the beach.

The beach north of the rocks was clothing optional. We wandered that way but kept our clothes on, can’t imagine the potential sunburn or embarrassment!

This was a favorite restaurant & takeaway spot overlooking the ocean. The grilled snapper was tasty.

We didn’t see any crocs, did see some jellyfish washed up on the beach. The jellyfish stings are nasty, painful and can cause paralysis of heart & lungs!

The butcher shop has a local meats in addition to a variety of fresh fish.

We had breakfast here yesterday on the veranda. Wonderful setting, great food & service so we returned for dinner today.

Matso’s brewery, a favorite.
