We stayed at a second campground in Karijini National Park and made a stop at the visitors center.

Where’s the gorge?? There was a trail from Dales campground to overlooks, waterfalls and pools. It’s quite a draw because there is little freshwater in all of Australia.
---

Water!! First views of Fortescue Falls and pool.

The rock walls were amazing. Yes, there were bush flies, LOTS of bush flies. We were offered $100 for our headnets, NO deal!
---

Quite a change in vegetation walking back to Fern Pool at the bottom of Dales Gorge.
---

Quite an engineering feat, a steel stairway down the face of the cliff to the bottom of the gorge. No rappelling for us!
---

Amazing where trees were growing and how big they were!

Fortunately it’s the dry season and we didn’t have to get our feet wet.
---

The trail at the bottom of the gorge took us along, over and through ledges and rock outcroppings.
---

There were small round disks on the rocks marking the trail.
---

Over!
---

Under!
---

Through, it was a very fun walk!
