May 13, 2019 ..... Back to the welcome page and listings for other links

We left Quobba Station and backtracked south to the Ouobba blowholes before heading back north. It was another day of few services, which will probably be the norm for the coming days. We stopped at the only roadhouse between Carnarvon and Coral Bay to refuel (238km). Coral Bay is footsteps from the Ningaloo Reef. There are miles of sandy beaches and coral snorkeling just off shore.

Rocky coastline near the blowholes.

Wandering along the rocks.

Lots of wave action!

Sea spray evaporated and left pockets of dried salt. Wondering if we could use this?

Little blowholes.

Walking along the beach at Coral Bay. The water is so clear and amazing turquoise color.

Billy’s is sheltered from most winds and has 4km of beach. Lots of folks were swimming, snorkeling, walking and relaxing on the beach.
