We decided
to stay another night in Denham, explore a bit more in the area and relax.
Our morning started with a 28km drive across Peron Peninsula to Monkey Mia
Conservation Park, renowned for dolphin interaction. Monkey Mia is the Aboriginal
word for home/camp/resting place.
Our email address is gusrox30@gmail.com.
Feel free to drop a note and say hello anytime!

Bottlenose
dolphins visit the beach each day and are offered small amounts of fish.
Three generations of dolphins have been coming to the beach for 40 years!
The feeding is strictly supervised to ensure the dolphins continue to
hunt naturally. |
This
emu was enjoying a morning walk along the sidewalk. |
|
We
did get headnets and are much happier. The bush flies dont bite,
but are extremely irritating! |
We
walked around Little Lagoon. It was once a land-locked salt pan. Now
there is an outlet into Shark Bay that we waded across. |
|
Enjoying
a pub lunch. The boat launch is just across the road. |
Life
is rough! |
