Today we picked up the campervan, our wheels and home for the next month. It's roomier than we anticipated! We made it out of Perth without incident, just a few tense moments. Keep left, keep left, yes LEFT! The turn signal lever is on the right, windshield wiper on the left. Humm...we'll get it figured out! We drove north on the Indian Ocean Highway and spent the night at a caravan park in Guilderton..

This is our campervan. We were upgraded a couple days before we left home. The smaller van we originally rented wasn’t available, too bad! Besides more space, this one has a fridge & microwave!

We stopped at Yanchep National Park and walked along the koala boardwalk. Koalas aren’t very active. Their main food source, eucalyptus leaves, contain lots of fiber and take awhile to process.

This is the first tee at the Guilderton Golf Course. $15, just put your green fee in the envelope and drop it in the honor box. We had a look at the first hole, hit it straight or bring lots of golf balls. The bush along the narrow fairway was thick!
