I broke the zipper on my favorite golf bag

I went to Joann's Fabrics (thanks Barb Eckles for that suggestion) and bought a 28 inch zipper, some upholstery thread, a thimble, & a needle.
I went to fixnzip.com and bought one of those but that did not work at all, the zipper would slide but the teeth would not come together.
The sides of the new zipper are cloth-like and easy to sew on so I am stitching the new zipper over the old zipper.
On the first side I kept the new zipper closed and then on the other side I opened up the zipper and stitched that onto the bag.

I broke the zipper on my favorite golf bag

I love this bag as it has wheels

I am stitching the new zipper to the old zipper

Yes, I am using upholstery thread

Now I've opened up the zipper & this is the other side

Finished and working perfectly - looking good & works
