PART 2 PICTURES
more on the 3rd posting (this allows quick loading
of the graphics). Bus took us from Stresa Italy to Tasch Switzerland then
train into Zermatt--home of the Matterhorn. Our hotel room is a Suite---2
bdrms & view of "THE" Mountain from our porch. There are 12
peaks over 12,000 feet around here. Still skiing here up on top. No cars in
town but these little electric put-put things. we took 35 minute train ride
(cog rail) up to Gronergrat---views of Matterhorn & peaks on this sunny
day takes your breath away. Cog rails use a middle gear between the rails
to get you up steep slopes. Got up at dawn to see sunrise on the Matterhorn.
