On this trip we will go into 69 locks---going UP in elevation(we go in, water fills up, ship rises, we go out) from Budapest to Nuremberg (Danube)Then we go DOWN in elevation from Nuremberg to Amsterdam (Main & Rhine)---we go in to the lock, water gets sucked out, then we go out other side.
